Cream loads are available throughout the region and cream demand is up. Cream multiples moved higher on the bottom end of both ranges.
CENTRAL
Here’s what USDA/AMS had to say:
Cream production is strong in the Central region and butter makers are purchasing cream to keep churns active. Some butter makers say spot cream volumes are somewhat difficult to obtain nearby and they are paying slightly higher multiples for cream this week.
NORTHEAST
Here’s what USDA/AMS had to say:
Cream supplies remain available in the region for spot purchases. Butter production is generally higher, but some manufacturers are choosing to sell cream to other producers rather than send it to the churns. Cream multiples increased slightly at the bottom of the range and remained the same at the top.
