CREAM MULTIPLES

WEST
Here’s what USDA/AMS had to say:
Stakeholders note UF milk demand is increasing because cream is readily available this year. Cream demand is mixed. Cream multiples sharply decreased for the bottom ends of the ranges and increased slightly for the top end of the ranges.

CENTRAL
Here’s what USDA/AMS had to say:
Cream is plentiful in the Central region, amid increasing milk output and strong component levels. Some spot sales were reported this week at lower multiples, due to light demand from butter makers. Class II cream demand is steady from last week but is light overall.

NORTHEAST
Here’s what USDA/AMS had to say:
Cream multiples are down in the region, with supply outpacing demand. Butter churns are operating at or near capacity.
