CREAM MULTIPLES

WEST
Here’s what USDA/AMS had to say:
Cream loads are available. Demand varies from somewhat lighter to somewhat stronger. Cream multiples are stable.

CENTRAL
Here’s what USDA/AMS had to say:
Higher temperatures are causing milk component levels to decline and reducing cream production. Demand for cream is lighter ahead of this week’s holiday, and some folks are moving volumes at lower multiples this week. Butter makers have some downtime planned late in the week, but they are actively churning the rest of the week

NORTHEAST
Here’s what USDA/AMS had to say:
Despite steady seasonal demand from ice cream manufacturers, cream remained readily available on the spot market, and any incremental purchases were largely directed to churns. Cream supplies were more than adequate for churn operations, and manufacturers reported no limitations meeting current needs.
